About Villas Near the Town Centre
The villas on this page are the ones closest to Kalkan town centre. There are 82 of them at the moment, all within 1.5 km of the centre, and well over half are within a kilometre. At that distance you can walk down for dinner, fetch fresh bread in the morning and nobody has to drive back after dinner.
Where the villas are
Most of them are in Ortaalan and Kiziltas, the residential neighbourhoods on the slopes around the town. A smaller group sits right in the centre, there are some in Kalamar and Komurluk as well, and a couple in Akbel. Kalkan is built on a hillside. That means the walk into town is usually downhill and the walk back up is the part to think about, especially on a hot evening.
The sea is close too. Distances to the water run from the waterfront itself to about 2 km, with a handful of villas within 500 metres and a good number within a kilometre. And because the town faces out over the bay, nearly all of them have sea views.
What the villas are like
Every villa here has an outdoor pool, air conditioning, a barbecue, a dishwasher and satellite TV. Parking, a washing machine and towels are provided in almost all of them and most include WiFi. A fair few have an indoor jacuzzi, which is nice in spring and autumn, and about half have a table tennis table for the children.
